Ex-Citi FX Veteran Sandip Sen Joins DKK Partners to Advise Board

DKK Partners has
announced its newest recruit, Sandip Sen, the former Managing Director of
Citi FX, as the new Board Advisor. His main duties will be to focus
on driving the company’s growth.

Having held
high-ranking positions at Citibank for nearly 30 years, Sen has been appointed
to oversee DKK’s expansion into international markets and support the
development of the company’s foreign exchange capabilities and services in
emerging economies.

Johan Koo Joins Invast Global as Head of Prime Services APAC

Invast Global has strengthened its executive team by appointing Johan Koo as the Director and Head of Prime Services APAC (which excludes Japan). He has already joined the company and is located in the Sydney offices.

His appointment was made when Invast had already added a number of industry experts to its Prime Services division. The company onboarded Andrew Bradshaw last September, who shares the position of Head of Prime Services. However, the company confirmed to Finance Magnates that Bradshaw’s role is centralised on hedge fund and family office business, while Koo will be working closely with the Prime Services team and broker clients in the APAC region.

FXPA Picks Chair and Vice from Euronext FX and State Street

The Foreign Exchange
Professionals Association (FXPA) has elected new executives for its Officers and Board
Members. The new leaders were chosen at the organization’s Annual
Meeting held on February 14th, 2023, FXPA announced on
Tuesday.

FXPA disclosed that
Susan Daube has been named as its new Chair. Additionally, Dauber is the current Chairperson of Euronext Markets
Singapore. She takes over the position from Chris Leonard-Appleton, the Head of FX
Risk and Regulation at the London Stock Exchange Group, who was the
Acting Chair. Another executive from Euronext FX, Kelvin Wolf, who held the position at an earlier time while
Leonard-Appleton served as the Vice Chair.

Angelos Christofi Leaves Conotoxia for Sales Director Role in NKB Solutions

NKB Solutions has appointed a long-time
industry veteran Angelos Christofi as its new Sales Director. Christofi joins NKB Solutions from Conotoxia as its previous Head of Sales and Business Development.

According
to his LinkedIn profile, Christofi’s professional career began in the FX and contracts
for difference industries in 2011 at FX Global Market, managing a sales team. In 2013, he repositioned as an Account
Manager at IronFX for a short period of time and, in the same year, joined Xtrade Group
as the Head of Retention, where he stayed for almost four years.

Denis Golomedov Resigns as RoboMarkets’ Chief Marketing Officer

Denis Golomedov has resigned from his position as the CMO of RoboMarkets after
five and a half years. His LinkedIn profile states that he left the role last month.

Golomedov joined RoboMarkets
in Cyprus in August 2017. He has been in charge of planning, development
and execution of the retail forex and CFD broker’s marketing and advertising
initiatives. However, the executive has taken up the position of Chief Marketing Officer at another undisclosed private company, according to his LinkedIn profile.

The executive carries more than two decades of industry experience in roles, such as marketing, business
communication, technology strategy and web software development.

FXCM Taps Thomas Felber to Lead Product’s Team

The Forex
Capital Markets (FXCM) Group has onboarded Thomas Felber as its new Product
Director. Felber joins FXCM from Smart Valor where he served as Chief Technology Officer.

According
to his social media channels, Felber began his career in 2005 in the IT
sector as the Senior IT Consultant at Reply. In 2011, he cofounded a software development
company, Tekaris, which he left in 2015 to join Linde’s BeeZero project as the
CTO.

Kohle Capital Markets Onboards Two Executives in Australia Office

Kohle Capital Markets has enhanced its workforce in the Australia office with its two latest hirings: Tim Waterer as the Chief Market Analyst and Jason Lau as the Country Manager for Australia.

The appointments were made as Kohle Capital Markets plans to expand its presence in the Southeast Asian markets. The broker launched its services in 2019 and presently offers retail trading services with a Mauritius license. On top of that, it holds an Australia Financial Services license. Last year, the broker onboarded Ryan Tsui as the Chief executive.

Ebury’s Maria Alberghini Joins GCEX as Sales Manager in Dubai

GCEX has hired Maria Alberghini as its Sales Manager in Dubai. She joins GCEX after serving for over
a year at Ebury in Dubai.

GCEX disclosed
Alberghini’s appointment on Thursday through LinkedIn. It mentioned that the executive will
work closely with the current Managing Director of Dubai, Mehtap Önder on the company’s
strategic growth plans.

With around a decade of sales and business development experience, Alberghini Before Ebury worked as a Global Business Development Executive at
Limelight Networks between April 2019 and March 2021.

WH Selfinvest Hires FXFlat’s Raphaël Leblond as French Regional Manager

WH Selfinvest has appointed Raphaël Leblond to oversee the
operations of its French-speaking markets from Paris, France, which includes the markets in France, Belgium and Switzerland.

On Thursday, WH Selfinvest
announced Leblond’s appointment in a press statement shared with
Finance Magnates. Leblond joins WH Selfinvest from FXFlat where he led the
latter’s expansion into France for sixteen months, starting in October 2021. He brings over a decade of industry
experience to the new role at WH Selfinvest.
